The story... Magali Designs is designed by California native Maggie Lee Baker in Los Angeles.  During a trip to Europe, Maggie was searching for a fashionable fanny pack to be hands-free, and couldn't find one to suit her needs.  So she designed one for herself and when people kept asking about it, she knew she had to create a line of fanny packs.  All of the fanny pack hipbags and jewelry are handmade in LA.  A self taught jewelry and accessory designer, Maggie began creating jewelry in 2003 with beads from a Farmer's Market and her first set of tools.
