Description

A great collector's item .... Framed with Log & Autorgraph....Nolan Ryan "Fight" with Robin Ventura

Size: 16 X 20

On August 4, 1993...Texas Rangers vs. Chicago White Sox at Arlington Stadium......Nolan Ryan, Hall of Fame Texas Rangers' Pitcher, throws a pitch that hit Robin Ventura, Third Baseman of the Chicago White Sox, in the ribs. Ventura charged the mound in order to fight Ryan, who was 20 years his senior. Ryan secured the 26-year-old Ventura in a headlock with his left arm; the fight ensued."

“All I remember is that I couldn’t breathe,” says Ryan. “I thought I was going to black out and die, when all of a sudden I see two big arms tossing bodies off of me. It was Chicago's Bo Jackson. He had come to my rescue, and I’m awful glad he did, because I was about to pass out. I called him that night and thanked him.”
