Your child will enjoy creating a short film through ensemble based acting & storytelling exercises performed throughout the six week session.

About:

Tiny Tales is a an acting and ensemble based workshop for kids, with a show every six weeks. Throughout each class, kids will participate in improv, voice & movement, and storytelling exercises that will result in a tale entirely created by the collaboration of Tiny Tales artists. At the end of every six weeks, the resulting piece will be presented to family, friends, and the community in a performance at the Atwater Village Theatre.

Every six weeks will result in a different storytelling project. These projects will include:

• Animations: Story created, animated, and voiced by Tiny Tales artists.


• Short Play: Written and performed by Tiny Tales artists.


• Puppet Show: Written, performed by, and puppets created by Tiny Tales artists.


• Book: Written, illustrated, and presented by Tiny Tales artists.


• Live Action Movie: Written and performed by Tiny Tales artists.

Tiny Tales artists will be presented with a copy of their stories to enjoy for years to come.

The goal of Tiny Tales Classes is to nurture the creativity of L.A.’s youth, and inspire a lifetime love for storytelling in its many forms.
