About Boston By Foot:
Boston By Foot is dedicated to promoting public awareness and appreciation of Boston's rich history and architectural heritage by offering a wide range of guided tours and programs conducted by a dedicated corps of highly-trained and enthusiastic volunteer tour guides.
Founded in 1976, the year of America’s Bicentennial, Boston By Foot, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit educational corporation that presents engaging and thought-provoking tours of Boston. From tours of Boston’s iconic neighborhoods, the world-famous Freedom Trail, to tours on special topics, Boston By Foot tours encourage walkers to explore and experience the city environment with a fresh perspective. Our tours are delivered by highly-trained corps of over 200 volunteer tour guides, many of whom have served Boston By Foot for more than 10, 20, and even 30 years.
About our tours
Boston By Foot tours are designed to be in-depth experiences that captivate as much as they educate our local and visiting audiences. Our nine classic tours are offered regularly May through October and on a limited basis in April and November. These walks include The Heart of the Freedom Trail, Beacon Hill, Victorian Back Bay, The North End, The Dark Side of Boston, Literary Landmarks, Reinventing Boston: A City Engineered, Road to Revolution, and Boston By Little Feet, a tour especially for children and families. Our special Tours of the Month, holiday events and special tours provide unique opportunities to more deeply explore Boston’s cityscape. In addition to our walking tours, we also present Architecture Cruises in partnership with Boston Society of Architects and the Charles Riverboat Company. All of our tours are available on a private basis at any time, we are also proud to develop custom tours upon request. Our partners and clients include universities, libraries, corporations, museums, and a wide variety of civic groups.

All winning bidders will be charged a transaction fee of 5%, not to exceed $20 per item, to cover a portion of the auction transaction fees.
