The winning bidder will receive their choice of the following discount offers below on a specialty sports camp from Union for Reform Judaism’s 6 Points Sports Academy:

• $500 off one session of camp


• $1,000 off two or three sessions of camp

If the camper registers for one session, the discount would be $500. If the camper registers for two sessions (in the same summer, either 2016 or 2017), then the discount would be $1,000.   This offer is available for a new camper for the summer of 2016 or 2017.

About 6 Points Sports Academy:

Located on the beautiful 100-acre campus of American Hebrew Academy in Greensboro, NC, this camp, unlike our other overnight camps, is geared specifically towards athletically inclined children, currently in grades 3 to 10 (entering 4 through 11 in the 2016/17 school year), who are interested in intensive sports training from high quality coaches in a fun, Jewish, summer camp environment. The campus includes a kosher kitchen, top-notch athletic facilities, and modern, air-conditioned dormitories. In 2015, we welcomed campers from 35 states and six foreign countries. Our staff members reflect a similar geography, including counselors who come from Israel specifically to work at camp.

Each day, campers receive 3 to 4 hours of instruction in their selected sport major. Campers then choose two  other sport electives for cross  training, conditioning and fun. By blending sports with engaging and experiential Jewish camp activities that foster  traditional values of community, honor, humility, courage, compassion and determination, 6 Points  ensures that campers enjoy a well-rounded and truly unique summer experience.

In addition to sports, sports and more sports, camp activities will include: campfires, song sessions, inter camp athletic competition (Maccabiah Games), special guest musicians and speakers, bunk cheers, Israeli themed activities and Shabbat celebrations.

Campers who stay for multiple sessions may choose to stay at camp between sessions. Food and lodging at camp, all supervision and transportation will be provided at an additional charge.
