GMWS Parent, Lulit Hussain, will cater a wonderful Ethiopian meal for six.
The meal will include five dishes. Here are some examples of menu choices:
1. Injera- is a sour and spongy round bread made of Teff flour that's Naturally Vegan and gluten free.
2. Atkilt wot- is a delicious vegetable combo of cabbage and potatoes sautéed with garlic ginger turmeric powder.
3. Gomen-made off collard greens spices cooked to tasty perfection sautéed with onion garlic and jalapeño.
4. Mesir wot. Is delicious (and beautifully colored). Combination of split raid lintels smeared in a spicy Berbere sauce, onion garlic and ginger.
5. Fasolia are string beans and carrots sautéed with onion garlic and ginger.
6. Kik alicha. Is split pea stew-Sh dish with onion ginger light turmeric powder.
7. Doro wot. (chicken stew). Chicken legs and thighs in thick spicy onion sauce is often called the national dish off Ethiopia. Served on the special occasion and holy days. Onion garlic ginger spiced clarified butter and barebere.
8. Beef Tibs. Simply pan fried sliced Beef, garnished with onion tomato green pepper.
including 10oz home roasted Ethiopian Coffee.
