Flora Springs 2012 Ceremony Blend Napa Valley Magnum

Meticulously etched and painted by hand, our Etched Ceremony magnum is an ideal way to celebrate and commemorate life's cherished occasions – be it the holidays, a birth, wedding, anniversary, reunion or family gathering. The larger size bottle – the equivalent of two 750ml bottles – allows the wine to age more slowly, making this ideal for cellaring until the perfect moment presents itself. We have filled our Ceremony magnum with wine grown and produced from our estate vineyards – a Bordeaux style blend that is the essence of Napa Valley at its peak.

Our Ceremony magnum features an image of our iconic "Flora," emerging from a pool of natural springs and holding aloft a cluster of grapes. "Flora has always been our icon, created in honor of my mother who inspired the founding of the winery," says John Komes. "This image underscores our role as grape growers as well as winemakers, while the water at Flora's feet symbolizes the natural springs which nourish the vineyards surrounding our estate."

2012 Ceremony Blend
From Flora Springs' estate vineyards in Napa Valley, this is a fascinating blend of the valley's finest Bordeaux grapes, built on a foundation of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc and finished with touches of Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. The wine features saturated flavors of briary wild berries and black cherries which expand on the palate into rich dark chocolate, licorice and cedar along with an underlying note of spicy cinnamon. Richly textured and generously proportioned, this is a sophisticated, polished red wine blend with great length and enveloping sweet tannins that end on an uplifting note of spice.
