Description
Want to try something new and fun? How about curling! Curling is a sport in which players slide granite stones, weighing around 40 pounds, on a sheet of ice towards a target area which is segmented into four concentric circles. Teams score points for the stones resting closest to the center of the concentric circles, known as the house. Curling requires a great deal of strategy and teamwork. This party includes four hours of curling (with instructors and equipment) at the Granite Curling Club. This item also includes a gift certificate for food and drinks. Date to be determined.
Special Instructions
Event is for a maximum of 20 people (no exceptions). Families are welcome but it is recommended that children be 10 years and up. Helmets are required for participants under 12 years of age. All participants must sign a waiver. (Ice is slippery.) Participants under the age of 18, must have a waiver signed by a parent. If adult beverages are desired, a member of your party will need to apply for a banquet license with the Washington State Liquor board. The Granite Curling Club is open mid-September through mid-June and is closed in the summer.
