Description

Pole borer is approximately 6 feet long from handle to end of bit.  Bit is the last 8 inches of the pole and is 1.5 inches in diameter. Rest of pole is .75 inches in diameter.  Handle is about 16 inches wide. Definitely shows wear.  This borer is the type used for drilling peg holes in logs when building log cabins.  It was longer to provide the user more leverage without having to bend down.
