Antique Cut Glass Vanity Jar - 4"

Glass jar is octagonal in shape with round top on which the lid rests.  Lid does not screw on.  Glass has several bubbles in bottom but I could find no chips.  May be a fleabite around top of glass.

Lid is painted metal with some paint chips but it has held it's shape.  The metal does not attract a magnet.

Jar alone is about 3 1/8" tall, 2 1/2" in diameter, 9 oz.  Jar with lid measures about 4" tall and weighs about 10 oz.

This jar was in my father's family and he died at age 78 in 1990.

Glass jar is octagonal in shape with round top on which the lid rests.  Lid does not screw on.  Jar has several small bubbles in the sides and appears to have a scratch in the bottom.  There are two chips at the top where the octagonal shape ends.  some roughness in the glass around the inside of the very top.

Lid is painted metal with some paint chips but it has held it's shape.  The metal does not attract a magnet.

Jar alone is about 4 3/4" tall, 3 3/4" in diameter, and weighs about 1 lb. 13 oz.  Jar with lid measures about 5 1/2" tall and weighs about 1 lb. 15 oz.
