For the first half of Wilco’s more than 20-year career, the band seemed to be constantly in flux, with member changes and albums that shifted from country-rock to moody folk-tronica.

Over the last 10 years, the band’s lineup has stabilized and its sound has settled into a combination of 1970s-style classic rock and modern electronic elements. It also has developed a reputation as one of the country’s best live acts, with long shows that encompass everything from noisy guitar pyrotechnics to acoustic ballads.
