Perhaps most important to the club’s golfing membership: there are no tee times at Stockbridge Golf Club – and there is almost never a wait at the first tee. It’s a beautiful thing !!

With several sets of tees and the Housatonic River meandering throughout, the golf course can fit (or challenge) the game of any golfer at any skill level. From the back tees, the course measures 6,659 yards - short by modern standards, but with a premium on accuracy due to the close proximity of the river on more than half of the holes. There's plenty of challenge here if you want it. Conversely, higher handicap players have the opportunity to choose from among three sets of forward tees, so the course can be enjoyable for all ability levels. From the most forward tees, the course measures 4,624 yards, a very manageable and enjoyable distance for shorter-hitting members, particularly seniors, juniors and beginning players. 

The terrain of the course is flat, making the traditional walking experience easy and enjoyable. Caddies are available, but are not required. Push carts or old-fashioned carrying are additional options. And, of course, electric carts are also available.
