Description
MakerState empowers kids ages 5-18 with science, technology, engineering, arts, and math passion and skills through makerspace workshops in robot engineering, fashion/wearable electronics, eco-engineering, video game design, paper circuits, 3D prototyping and printing, comic book creation, moviemaking, and more. The program emphasizes the Engineering Design Process and 21st Century Skills in communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creative problem solving. MakerState hosts its makerspaces in after-school programs, community workshops, pop-up makerspaces, summer camps, and birthday celebrations.

Our tech arts & crafts camps bring science, engineering and programming to life with hands-on projects every day (STEM: science, tech, engineering, math).
Locations include Upper East Side, Upper West Side, Lower East Side, Park Slope, and more.

Note: Only items such as gift certificates that fit in a standard envelope can be mailed if you are unable to pick up. You must notify us by Tuesday, March 15, 2016 by emailing gala@sprucestreetpta.org if you would like your item(s) mailed to you. There is a $1.00 shipping and handling fee for mailed items. Items will be mailed after scheduled pick up days. Pick up dates and times will be announced soon and will be the week after our event on March 12, 2016. Pick up location is at Spruce Street School (PS 397), 12 Spruce Street, NYC 10038. We are not responsible for items if you do not pick up during allotted pick up times and if no mailing arranged. Perfume containing alcohol may not be shipped internationally or mailed domestically using air transportation. Perfume containing alcohol, however, may be shipped within the United States by ground transportation.
