In first grade this year, the students have been developing a growing understanding of themselves, and how they fit within their broader community.  One reflection of this is their growing artfulness in producing self portraits.

For their gala art project this year, we took 21 self portraits - and 2 student-drawn teacher portraits - and created a mixed collage.
