Statue of Liberty

The Kids of Samantha and John’s second grade created a mix media design medley. Inspired by their love of Minecraft and their enthusiasm for the second grade NYC unit study of buildings and skyscrapers, New York City past and present, these modern kids collaborated to remake the Statue of Liberty. They crafted pixel colors with paint, marker, crayon, oil pastel and crayon. Each pixel was precisely glued accordingly.
