This year’s quilt stars each of our kindergartners debuting in their first year at Burke’s. Each student decorated the back of the quilt with her autograph. The teachers then worked with the girls to highlight their individual star qualities, hence the star frame for each girl’s headshot. The photographs and artwork that comprise this quilt make it a unique and priceless work of art. Take home this cherished souvenir of the girls’ first precious year together at Burke’s.

The making of the quilt was a collaborative effort that involved parents, faculty, our girls and key sponsors. The quilt was sewn in conjunction with Vanae in Novato, and the printing of the custom fabric was donated by Spoonflower. The 2016 quilt will grow more and more valuable as the Class of 2024 continues to shine at Burke’s and beyond.
