With deep ties to the Special Needs Community, The Conductors began as a musical project when group leader and rock musician “Joe Normal” Hutchinson’s son Drayke was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at 3 ½ years old. 

Drayke was fascinated by trains, which gave Joe the idea to marry both his son’s and his own passions… TRAINS & ROCK N ROLL, as a way to make connections with his child, and perhaps to give similar families an enjoyable experience and share the musical tools he discovers and works with at home and at play.
