The 5th grade art project, titled "Tidal Wave" is a mixed media mosaic piece, mainly using acrylic paint and metallic paper. The 5th grade students helped with the design, the cutting of the different media, and the placement of the media onto the canvas. This project required teamwork, communication, artistry, fine motor coordination skills, and creative brainstorming.
