The winner is entitled to a guided quail hunt for two people at Pinetop Plantation, located just south of "Dorange" near Reevesville, SC (approx 1 hour and 15 minute drive from Charleston). The season opens Thanksgiving week and ends March 1, 2017.

Hunters will need to provide their own vest, gun and ammunition. These birds are best taken with a 20-gauge shotgun. A normal bag for the day is twenty to twenty-five birds. For safety purposes, some hunting experience is required and the hunter's personal dogs are not permitted. A complimentary blaze orange hat will be given as a souvenir of the hunt.
