In celebration of Girls Day in March, Ms. Shiomi will prepare a traditional Japanese lunch which will include Chirashi-sushi.  Chirashi-sushi is steamed white rice seasoned with vinegar and topped with vegetables, shrimp, roasted seaweed and egg. (There is no raw fish.) Both boys and girls are encouraged to bid on this experience.

This lunch will be held during 1st/2nd grade lunch recess (12:35-1:15 pm), so the student must be either in 1st or 2nd grade. The experience will take place in the beginning of March.
