Take a Froyo break in Montrose with VW 3rd Grade Teacher, Mrs. Abranian, and her Guide Dog in Training!  You'll get to learn the commands and demands that dogs must learn before they become fully trained to help people who cannot see.  

Some of the Guide Dog skills you may see:

• Leading a person in a straight line from point A to point B


• Stopping for all changes in elevation, including curbs and stairs


• Stopping for overhead obstacles, such as tree limbs


• Avoiding obstacles in their path

This will be a unique experience your child will never forget!
