This painting by BJ member Nancy Beal was featured in her recent exhibition Landscape/Still Life/Tuscany at the Blue Mountain Gallery on 25th Street in Chelsea. The bouquet seems to bring heaven and earth together in radiant illumination. It was painted "en plein air" at her Upstate NY house.

In the review of the exhibit, published in The Examiner.com in November 2015, Alison Martin says: “For this show, Beal offers landscape and still-life paintings that are rich in color and light and evoke a sense of tranquility with their simple, natural beauty.”

Nancy has had 17 solo exhibitions and was a founding member of two galleries and a school.
