Product of Italy

Produced from dry-farmed, hillside vineyards i the picturesque olive and cypress-studded countryside between Florence and Siena. A blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo matured for a minimum of six months in oak casks followed by bottle aging of 4-6 months.  It has an elegant bouquet of berries, cherries, and violets; it is velverty and harmonic, with a long finish.  Best served with grilled red meats, game, and tomato dishes.
