Theses tickets include a personal backstage tour of the War Memorial Opera House by Clarendon parent, Michael Anderson, the Assistant Master Electrician of the San Francisco Opera.


Your tour will start in the basement where one often sees the Wig and Makeup departments working their magic on singers and dancers, to th top floor of the Opera House where on can see all the motorized rigging motors overhead and the Opera House floor over 100 ft below! The guests will be able to walk onstage and view the sets up close and personal, as well as visit the “Patch” area where other sets are stored for upcoming shows. Being the lighting technician, Michael will be able to show you both the Opera House’s expansive computer controlled lighting system and the special effect systems with an explanation of how it all works!
