Mark is a local artist and illustrator, best known for contributing over 50 covers to The New Yorker magazine! He quit his job as art director of the former KQED publication SF FOcus magazine in 1994 to become a self-taught artist. He's been the illustrator for SF JAZZ and has flat files full of paintings of the Giants. His first book, "Dogs Rule Nonchalatly" came out in 2014, celebrating his love affair with dogs. His second show at SF's Modernism Gallery will be in the Spring, followed by a retrospective exhibition at Galerie Oblique in Paris this September.
