• 2011 Craftwork Cabernet Sauvignon (Monterey) (valued at $20): A mouth-filling Cabernet Sauvignon with ripe berry aromas and a hint of cedar, followed by rich flavors of blackberry and cassis and a smooth long finish. The balance of fruit, acidity and well-integrated tannins make this an ideal drink-now companion to fine cuisine, while aging will only enhance the layers and complexity. A terrific pairing with steaks, chops, or a juicy burger, Cabernet’s firm tannins refresh the palate after each bite of meat. • 2012 Dry Creek Cabernet Sauvignon (Dry Creek Valley) (valued at $23): The 2012 vintage is a true standout. The even ripening conditions and near perfect sugar acid balance in the grapes was a winemaker’s dream. The Bordeaux varietals flourished unlike any vintage in recent memory. This impeccable wine displays wonderful aromatics of cherry, black currant and black olive notes. Additional airing reveals dried floral, allspice and hints of nutmeg and juniper. The palate is full-bodied and fleshy with excellent tannin and structure. The wine is silky and smooth with superb balance. The finish lingers on showing great texture and charm. • 2014 Longhand Cabernet Sauvignon (Alexander Valley) (valued at $30): A bucketful of apples and pears in a tarry licorice and toffee sauce. Slight hints of pepper and mocha. Donated by the Downey-Donovan Family.


• 2011 Canina Vignaioli Barbaresco (valued at $35): Aromas of very ripe fruit with blueberry and blackberry character and an earthy, mushroom undertone. It's full-bodied and spicy. Donated by the Freeman Family.
