Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford hit a fourth-inning grand slam to break a scoreless tie in the NL Wild Card game in Pittsburgh on Wednesday. San Francisco loaded the bases against Pirates starter Edinson Volquez on two singles and a walk before Crawford cleared the bases.

Crawford hit .246 with a .324 on-base percentage and 10 home runs in the regular season. Wednesday’s slam was his first home run in 17 career postseason games.

He became the only shortstop to hit a grand slam in the post season.
