Do you ever wonder from where the water comes when you turn on your faucet? The winner of this auction item will get a presentation and behind-the-scenes tour for up to ten people (at least one adult must be present) of a state-of-the-art West Chicago water treatment plant. The plant has a capacity of treating eight million gallons per day! Participants will also expand their knowledge of chemistry, engineering and mathematics and will also be able ask questions about the water quality in their own communities to better understand the importance of treated water in our lives.
