Yasou is a traditional Greek expression that means “health to you!”  "Ya" comes from the Greek word “υγεια”, which means "health" and "sou" (σου)  means "your".  Yasou is used as a greeting when saying hello and goodbye and is also toast when drinking, similar to the English expression “cheers”.
