Up to two children will go "undercover" to a local restaurant with Ann Parker, renowned Santa Cruz Sentinel restaurant critic and food writer. The child(ren) will learn exactly what goes into critiquing a dining experience and writing a winning restaurant review. Afterward, Ann will make a guest appearance in the child's classroom to speak with the students about the experience of being a food critic and share the review which will be printed in the Sentinel.

Ann Parker is originally from Athens, GA and moved to Santa Cruz county in 1981. A freelance public relations consultant, writer and editor, she has served as the restaurant critic for the Santa Cruz Sentinel since 2003.
