Tucked at the back of Central Coast Welding and Fabrication sits its alter ego — the barrel and tasting room of Stockwell Cellars. Owner Eric Stockwell is both welder and winemaker, forging wines as well as steel fabrications.

Stockwell learned from some of the area’s best including Steve Storrs (Storrs Winery), Jeff Emery (Santa Cruz Mountain Vineyard), Denis Hoey (Odonata) and Ryan Beauregard (Beauregard Vineyards). Stockwell custom crushes his wine at Beauregard’s Bonny Doon winery, utilizing the native yeasts present there for his wines.
