Come spend an afternoon with Mr. Lobovitz and attend a small Japanese tea ceremony at a local tea host.*  We will learn how to prepare matcha,  powdered green tea, some of the basics of a tea ceremony, and of course have a tasty treat and drink our tea.   Afterwards, we will return to Hamlin for a fun filled and magical Miyazaki film, Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea.  Ponyo is the tale of a magical goldfish and was inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's classic "The Little Mermaid." It will be a delightful and tasty evening. Open to 3rd and 4th grade!

*Comfortable clothing and fresh clean socks are required attire.
