Description
This beautiful handmade candle holder is crafted from a maple tree that was brought down by Hurricane Irene in Woodstock, NY and displays intriguing patterns and colorations due to spalting. Made by Stump and Chisel (Leigh Newsome), this piece is the last of four candle holders in its Hurricane Series. It has been kiln dried, sealed with boiled linseed oil and given much love and care.

Winning items can be picked up at P.S. 3 Charrette School, 490 Hudson St, NYC 10014 (between Christopher & Grove Streets). If you are unable to pick up your item (including gift certificates) at P.S. 3, you are responsible for additional shipping charges via FedEx.
