Converted from an old mechanic shop in 2003 by Chef/Owner Utku Cinel, Antique Garage has maintained it’s reputation as one of SoHo’s best kept secrets for over a decade. Their menu embraces a diverse collection of cross-cultural influences spanning the Mediterranean with delicate flavors predominating. All ingredients are responsibly sourced, fresh, organic and prepared with care. Utku’s private collection of antiques offers an eclectic, unique and romantic ambiance, charming and elegant in the tradition of old New York.
ABOUT THE CHEF
Chef/Owner Utku Cinel’s was trained in French Culinary Institute in 2003. Two of his greatest passions in life are fine cuisine and collecting antiques, which he has happily been successful in combining in the realization of Antique Garage. Transforming an auto-body repair shop on its last legs to a charming dining venue reflects Utku’s talents and creative energy. With the same attention to detail as the forming of Antique Garage’s space, it is Utku’s priority that great care is taken to ensure that his personalized blend of Mediterranean dishes express all of their delicate intricacies.
Located at 41 Mercer Street (between Grand Street and Broome Street), in the middle of the popular SoHo shopping district.

Winning items can be picked up at P.S. 3 Charrette School, 490 Hudson St, NYC 10014 (between Christopher & Grove Streets). If you are unable to pick up your item (including gift certificates) at P.S. 3, you are responsible for additional shipping charges via FedEx.
