Roberto Dutesco is a New York–based Canadian photographer, poet and filmmaker. In 1994, he began filming and photographing the wild horses of Sable Island, which brought international awareness and helped establish official protection for the island and its inhabitants.
Dutesco has also photographed such prominent personalities of our times as Pierre Trudeau, the Dalai Lama and Mikhail Gorbachev.
