The Kerner grape is an aromatic white grape variety. It was bred in 1929 by crossing Trollinger (a red variety also known as Schiava grossa or Vernatsch) and Riesling. Tasting notes: intense, luminescent yellow; fruity-aromatic odour of ripe peach, mango and coconut milk; full-bodied in the mouth with copious ripe fruit on the palate, juicy finish.
