Photographer Ward Thompson’s photos have appeared in many American Institute of Architecture calendars. He won their Bethune Award in 2001 and the First Place Award in 2015. He also operates an architectural tour business in Los Angeles. Photos of many iconic architectural landmarks are featured on his web page www.entasistours.com. Ward's photos have been exhibited at the Ebell Club in Los Angeles, CoMerge in San Diego, the American Institute of Architects Los Angeles gallery and other locations.

This photo was taken on the northeast corner of Alameda and 6th in Los Angeles in January 14. Ward spotted the wall art as he was driving along Alameda and was attracted to the colors and composition. The text along the diagonal lines is the lyrics from Led Zeppelin's 1969 song "Good Times Bad Times".

The photograph is matted, encased in a simple black frame and includes the photographer’s signature on the mat.
