The "Ocean Quilt," suitable for a favorite bed or a special wall, reveals a lushly inhabited watery world channeled through the imaginations and hands of this year’s 21 Bay Laurel students. The ocean theme was generated by the class’s research work. Each student drew, cut, and sewed the material of their choice to fabricate one square. It was then quilted with a discreet wavy pattern. The back of the quilt features red and blue fabric. Altogether the quilt's abstract narrative conveys the interests and personalities of planet earth’s future stewards.
