This stunning, one-of-a-kind wooden table was hand-crafted from a single 13 foot, 450 pound slab of rare Chilean Pine (aka Monkey Puzzle).  Inspired by Maria Montessori's perspective on work and environment, the project required hard work and many hands to turn a natural material into a substantial furniture piece. The Redwood class spent over 100 hours studying, designing, sanding, drilling, ratcheting, and finishing the piece. A true work of art and labor of love, this showcase table will be a conversation starter in the lucky winner's dining room, conference room or office.
