Camp Directors Ann & Hobie Woods founded Roughing It Day Camp in 1972 and continue to be intricately involved in the daily operations of camp. They designed Roughing It to be a place where campers of all ages can learn, grow and thrive in an atmosphere that is safe, fun, and nurturing to the spirit of every child. Their mission continues, even now, 40 years later. Daughters Amy and Katey, as well as thousands of children throughout the Bay Area, have grown up spending their summers here. 

Our progrmas feature:

1. A flagship 4 & 8 Week Day Camp for Pre K-10th grade that is celebrating its 44th year in 2016.

2. A 2 Week Little Raccoons Camp for campers entering Kindergarten or 1st grade 

3. A 1 Week Outdoor Explorer Camp for 1st grade through 6th grade.

You can use your certificate towards an enrollment in one of these programs.

Restrictions: Non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-redeemable for cash. Limit one certificate, discount, or promotion per family per summer. Cannot be used towards a session of Horse Day Camp or Little Explorers. Valid for summer 2016 only. Session enrollment subject to availability; please register early to reserve your spot!
