Description
Your personal guide will greet you at the main entrance of the Zoo and take you on a private visit with some of our animals and the professionals who care for them. This unique experience will allow you and up to five guests exclusive access to private areas of the Zoo and will last approximately two hours. This rare opportunity is not for sale to the public. The exact itinerary of the tour will depend upon the date chosen and animal/keeper availability, as well as the age composition of the group (some behind the scenes areas are not accessible for children under the age of 10, while others are more suitable to young children and not adults). Typical tour itineraries include visits such as a giraffe feeding, ostrich feeding, koala encounter, hippo encounter, anteater encounter, big cat keeper talk, grizzly bear keeper talk, and/or penguin keeper talk. Tours usually encompass 3-4 animal encounters or keeper talks. Bring your camera, as there will be photo opportunities galore!
Donors: Stasia & Derek Reisfield
Restrictions: Tours should be arranged at least three weeks in advance by contacting our VIP tour scheduler. All behind the scenes experience areas are subject to change based on the health and welfare of the animals. This tour is non-transferable. Zoo admission fees and parking are included for all guests. Non transferrable.
