Venture Outdoors is  a member-supported local non-profit organization working to make it easy for you to get outside. We offer over 500 Public Programs a year including kayaking, hiking, biking, snowshoeing, fly fishing, cross country skiing, and geocaching trips. Have you seen the yellow kayaks on the rivers of Downtown Pittsburgh or on North Park Lake? Yep, that’s us too! We own and operate two social enterprises: Kayak Pittsburgh and Climb Pittsburgh. Kayak Pittsburgh is a kayak rental concession open May through October on the waters of Downtown Pittsburgh and the lake at North Park, and Climb Pittsburgh is our portable climbing wall service.
