This auction is for Two 1-hour passes for Kayak Pittsburgh, a project of Venture Outdoors

Our kayaks are flat-water kayaks which are longer and more stable than the whitewater kayaks which come to mind for most people. We like to describe flat-water kayaks as being similar to canoes but easier to steer. I’m sure you have seen our bright yellow kayaks navigating the three rivers in the heart of Pittsburgh. We opened for business in 2004, and we have continued to expand our fleet and add new locations to make it possible for EVERYONE to get on the water!

Kayaking is easy to learn and is great for beginners. No experience is necessary and most folks learn how to manage a kayak in 10 to 15 minutes. After a few minutes of instruction from our staff, you will be equipped to head out onto the river and enjoy the city from a whole new vantage point!
