Description
Heat is regularly applied to many of our chemistry and biology laboratory experiments. However, due to the volatile nature of some of our solutions and the delicate nature of cells, using a bunsen burner and flame is not recommended. Hot plates allow students to add the required heat without additional safety concerns or fear of killing the cells they are working with.
Special Instructions
This item is being funded by $250 increments, but you may choose to fund as many increments as you'd like by selecting a quantity. For example, if you would like to fully fund a single hot plate, please select "2" as your quantity.
Our goal is 8 units. If an item is not fully funded, the balance will remain with the department.
