This is a vintage 8" diameter Oriental storage basket decorated with an antique brass coins, Peking glass beads, opening rings and green silk tassels.

Inside is filled with six strand embroidery floss in black, greens, blue, white, purple and pinks. Maybe some other bits - sewing needles and such.
