Description

Jonathan Livingston Seagull, written by Richard Bach, is a fable in novella form about a seagull learning about life and flight and a homily about self-perfection. Because Jonathan spends so much time perfecting his flying form instead of concentrating on getting food, he is ostracized by the rest of the flock. A spiritual classic of the 1970's.

This rare copy of "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" is a hardcover, first edition, first printing and in fine condition without a dust jacket. The initial printing consisted of only 7500 copies.  A debossed seagull is visible on the upper front corner of dark blue cloth front cover. The title, author and publisher are debossed on the spine. The number "50454" is debossed on bottom of the back cover near spine. Binding is square and tight.
