Description

This is a beautiful 20th century embroidery of a Chinese scene of "Birds and Bamboo". It was made by people in the Chinese ethnic group the Naxi who mainly inhabit the Yunnan Province in southern China. It is stretched in a traditional carved wooden frame behind glass and stored in a cloth-covered box. It measures approximately 13.5"x9".
