Description

This large black and white photo shows Kapua Wall surrounded by six cowboys on horseback (left to right: Robbie Chai, Louis K. Hoomanawanui, Naluahine Kaopua, Keawe Keilikini, Kapua Wall Heuer, Samuel Hoomanawanui, John Namuo) beside the pier at Keauhou Bay after a successful cattle shipping job. Chai, Keilikina and Namuo were from Paris Ranch. Both Hoomanawanuis were from Johnson Ranch, Kaopua from T.C. White Ranch and Heuer from Wall Ranch. The area where the photograph was taken is the location of the present pier at Keauhou. It is printed with archival ink on rag-quality paper and measures 24"x20".
