Open Year 'Round!

The San Antonio Zoo is open 365 days a year! We are open rain or shine. Sorry no rain checks. Please check the local weather forecast before you visit. 

Outside food or drinks are not allowed into the Zoo. Exceptions: bottled water, small snack-sized items, and baby food and formula.

Ice chests and coolers are not allowed on Zoo grounds. Exceptions: school groups are allowed to bring in lunches. 

Hours Of Operation

9 a.m. - 6 p.m. Daily. 365 days a year! (Except November 27 thru January 3)

The Zoo closes at 4 p.m. from November 27 - January 3 (excluding December 24 and 25) to prepare for Zoo Lights - Holiday Nights!
