This classic wine barrel table, offered by Marine Corps Installations West/Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, is handcrafted of French Oak by a famed European Tonnellerie.  It was subsequently used to age fine California reds from the Central California wine country.

Reminiscent of Camp Pendleton’s early days as a working ranch, this barrel has been lovingly restored and transformed into a handsome accent piece, retaining it’s original markings and character while showcasing classic elements of Camp Pendleton’s past and present. 

The large “TO” brand with a distressed gunmetal finish reflects the “Texas and Oklahoma” brands present on the cattle purchased by the original owners of the Santa Margarita y Las Flores Ranch in 1882, and became the official brand of Camp Pendleton after the U.S. Marine Corps purchased the ranch in 1942.

The five coins surrounding the brand are from the Commanding Generals of 1st Marine Division, 3d Marine Aircraft Wing, 1st Marine Logistics Group, 1st Marine Expeditionary Group and Marine Corps Installations West/Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. 

The custom glass top is set upon .50 caliber casings reflecting the base’s current mission to train America’s Marines, from the mountains to the sea.
